Raj Kundra reaches ED in Mumbai for questioning

Raj Kundra, businessman, and husband of Actor Shilpa Shetty, reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai on Monday.

Raj Kundra, businessman, and husband of actor Shilpa Shetty, reached Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai on Wednesday. It is expected that Raj Kundra will be questioned by investigating ncy. Earlier, Republic TV h reported that Kundra would be called in for questioning by ED in relation to Iqbal Mirchi case.

On October 23, Republic TV  reported on a Raj Kundra linked company's alleged business links which raised serious questions. As per information with Republic TV, Kundra h links with a company that h business dealings with a company that h links to individuals like Ranjeet Bindra who is presently in ncy custody in relation to Iqbal Mirchi case. After Republic TV put out report, Kundra took to Twitter to present his version of case. Here was his initial response:

During prime time debate with Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami, Kundra h even mitted to business relations with Bindra. On live television, Kundra said, “He (Bindra) was owner of company. We have bought into a restaurant that he created so we bought into that chain."

While it is unclear as to what line of questioning of  ED to Kundra will be about, fact of matter is that re seem to be several unanswered questions in public domain. Iqbal Mirchi case has been moving thick and fast vis-a-vis investigating ncies. While a Bollywood linked public personality angle is w seemingly coming to fore in investigation, previously ED h also questioned NCP leer Praful Patel for certain alleged transactions. Iqbal Mirchi was kwn to be an aide and associate of underworld don and terrorist Dawood Ibrahim. Mirchi was also an accused in 1993 Bombay Blasts case.
