Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot on Thursday said state government will introduce a resolution against CAA in budget session beginning Friday. Kerala and Punjab have alrey passed resolutions seeking withdrawal of Citizenship Amendment Act.
Pilot said Centre should listen to people protesting against Act across country and asserted that democracy weakens if re is dialogue. "We are requesting central government to reconsider Act. Constitution has given right to protest but if someone does it, y are attacked and called anti-nationals," Pilot, who is also chief of Presh Congress Committee, said on Thursday.

" Rajasthan Assembly will pass a resolution against CAA in this session," he told reporters after reviewing preparations ahe of Congress leer Rahul Gandhi's rally in Jaipur on January 28. Pilot said legality of CAA will be decided by Supreme Court. People have right to express ir disagreement in a peaceful manner and within boundary of law, he said, ding, "We do t support those who take law in hand".

He claimed that besides party workers, Gandhi's 'Aakrosh Rally' will be attended by youths and students in large numbers. "re is unrest among youths in country today. educated are unemployed and ecomy is in a poor state and Rahul Gandhi wants to focus on it. mess from rally will go across country," he said.
"Gandhi will raise issues concerning people. After Rajasthan, he will hold rallies in or states also. In view of Union Budget, Congress wants central government to focus on issues which help ecomy run," Pilot ded. Reacting to proposed resolution, BJP state chief and MLA Satish Poonia said ir party will oppose it in assembly. "We will oppose any such resolution in assembly," he said after a meeting of BJP legislators here.

BJP also slammed government for calling assembly session on a short tice. Leer of Opposition in state assembly, Gulabchand Kataria, said a 21-day prior tice was required to be served but rule was t followed by government.
