A tice directing district officials to keep a check on social media posts and take necessary action over objectionable posts on social media platforms has been issued by Rajasthan Police. A letter issued by ditional Commissioner (Law and Order) Ajay Pal Lamba states that "On various groups of social media platforms such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn among ors, it is seen that people post objectionable content. se posts and comments should be monitored. Necessary action should be taken against such people who are posting objectionable content on social media platforms."

CBI sets up online child sexual abuse and exploitation prevention unit
Meanwhile, an online child sexual abuse and exploitation prevention unit has been set up Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday in national capital. new unit of CBI will collect and disseminate information regarding publication and transmission of information relating to online child sexual abuse and exploitation. CBI in an official statement said, " rapid growth of internet has created a new dimension, wherein sexual exploitation of children can multiply if remained unchecked."
investigations of such offences will come under provisions of Indian Penal Code (IPC), Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Information Techlogy Act 2000. territorial jurisdiction of unit will be throughout India. ncy said that numerous references related to dissemination of child sexual abuse materials are received from national and international organisations. CBI in statement furr stated, " incidence of online child sexual abuse generally transcends international borders. Victims are mostly helpless incent children."
