Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 'effective dress' at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). PM Modi dressed 75th session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Saturday and touched upon key issues — from much-needed reform in world body and push for an effective COVID-19 vaccine to India's path to ecomic recovery through its 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' plan.
Taking to Twitter, Defence Minister stated that whole world heard and hailed voice of 'confident India' through PM Modi. His tweet in Hindi re as - "PM Modi echoed voice of people of India with full clarity and strength. Today, whole world heard and hailed voice of 'confident India' through PM Modi. I heartily congratulate him for his effective dress."

PM Modi's UNGA Speech
PM Modi called for serious introspection of UN's work as it completes 75 years of its existence questioned body's effort over last few months in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
He pushed need for reforms in UN, especially Security Council, to better reflect realities of today's global order. He said India is proud of fact that it is one of founding members of United Nations and body enjoys faith and respect among country's 1.3 billion people.

In his dress, he apprised about India's mantra of 'reform, perform and transform'. He said that India has me great efforts to bring transformation in lives of millions of Indians. PM Modi in his dress said that India is among leing countries in world in terms of Digital Transactions.
This year, world leers are dressing assembly session virtually on account of COVID-19 pandemic. me of 75th UNGA is — ' future we want, United Nations we need, reaffirming our collective commitment to multilateralism – confronting COVID-19 through effective multilateral action'.
