Rajnath Singh: Pak at risk of getting dismantled for rights breach

Rajnath Singh warned Pakistan against "repeating mistakes of 1965 and 1971" as the neighbouring country breeds ground for human rights violations on its soil.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday warned Pakistan against 'repeating mistakes of 1965 and 1971' even as he asserted that  neighbouring country ran risk of getting 'dismantled' on account of flagrant violation of human rights on its soil. 

Rajnath Singh - ‘Article 370 was like cancer’ 

dressing a "Jan Jagran Sabha" (public awareness meet) organized by BJP here, where senior party leers spoke on Narendra Modi government's move to strip Jammu and Kashmir of its special status, Singh said that Article 370 was like a 'cancer' which was bleeding state. More than three-fourths of J&K population was in favour of abrogation of Article 370, he stated. " BJP h never softened its stance on Article 370, irrespective of wher it was at helm or t. Its abrogation has proved that party is honest and credible," Singh maintained.  defence minister also cautioned  neighbouring country against promoting cross-border terrorism in wake of developments in J&K. "Talks with Pakistan will henceforth resume only after it stops promoting terrorism. And country must keep in mind that Jammu and Kashmir are an integral part of India and discussion can only take place about Pak-occupied Kashmir," he ded.

Rajnath Singh approves writing on borders 

Rajnath Singh, India's Defence Minister, h given his approval for initiating work of writing history of India's borders last week. According to reports, statement comes after Minister held a meeting on September 17, with eminent experts of Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Directorate General of Archives (DGA), and officials of Home Affairs, External Affairs and Defence ministries. According to him, writing about m will provide a good understanding of general public, which is extremely necessary. He has furr directed officials to consult experts for action plan that is required to write about Indian borders.
