Rajnath Singh recalls valour of army during 1971 war: ‘Golden chapter of India’s military'
On the 50th Anniversary of the Vijay Diwas, 1971 Indo-Pak war victory, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called the victory ‘Golden chapter in India’s military.'

On 50th Anniversary of Vijay Diwas, commemorating India's victory over Pakistan in 1971 battle, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called war ‘Golden chapter in India’s military'. Dec 16, 2021, marked 50th anniversary of liberation of ‘East Pakistan,’ which led to formation of ‘Banglesh.’ Defence ministry has been hosting a series of events to commemorate 50th anniversary of 1971 war. Rajnath Singh took to his Twitter to furr share a couple of photos relating to war, which included an im of 'Pakistani Instrument of Surrender.
Rajnath Singh also unveiled a commemorative stamp at National War Memorial on occasion.
