Rani Laxmi Bai Statue Installed At Park Near Delhi's Shahi Idgah Amidst Tight Security

New Delhi: Amidst all the protests, the statue of Rani Laxmi Bai was on Thursday installed at the park behind Shahi Idgah in North Delhi. The statue of Laxmi Bai was brought on Wednesday night with the help of a crane before it was installed on Thursday under tight security of the Delhi Police.  

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday had pulled up the Shahi Idgah Managing Committee for making 'scandalous pleadings' in its plea against the installation of the statue inside the Shahi Idgah Park at Sadar Bazar, Delhi.
