A day after Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Pras's statement over ecomic slowdown in country created controversy, BJP leer has withdrawn his statement. Taking to Twitter, he said that his statement was 'twisted out of context'. In a press te, leer said that he is a sensitive man and hence he is withdrawing his statements. However, leer defended his statement, saying that it was 'factually correct.' On ecomic slowdown, leer said, in his press te, that he h cited many steps taken by government that are 'pro-people move to strengn ecomy'.

Dismissing reports of an ecomic slowdown in India, Pras stated a bizarre fact on Saturday at a press briefing in Mumbai. Quoting tre analyst Komal Nahta, he claimed that movies - War, Joker and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy h amassed a combined collection of Rs. 120 Crores on October 2. Pointing out dissimilarities, he questioned how India could be in a slowdown when Bollywood witnessed such returns.

"As I am in Mumbai, I have come to kw about a very interesting story regarding slowdown. As I was an Information & Brocasting minister in Atalji government, films have always been dear to me. In huge business by movies - on October 2 three movies were released. According to tre analyst - Komal Nahta, ' national holiday of October 2 saw movie earning of Rs. 120 Crore  a record by three movies- War, Joker and Sye Raa.' If nation's ecomy is sound, n only such a return can be witnessed in a day?" he said.
