Recovery of bomb-like objects creates panic in Bihar's Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur (Bihar): Recovery of a bomb-like object, seven spent cartridges and four small metal boxes from a cattle shed in Mhusudanpur area of Bihar’s Bhagalpur district created panic among people on Monday, police said.

However, police later found that recovered materials were not explosive objects.

police constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to find out who placed se suspicious objects in a cattle shed.

“Acting on specific information, police, along with bomb disposal squ, reached cattle shed... and recovered a sutli bomb-like object, seven spent cartridges and four small boxes me of tin, which looked like bombs, from re. Villagers also said that a minor fire h broken out at cattle shed of Chano Devi on Sunday which was brought under control by fire brige officials”.

Police registered a case and started investigating matter.

Forensic experts have also collected evidence from spot.
