According to Kerala State Disaster Manment Authority red alert has been issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur and Palakk on Monday and in four districts on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has asked people to be vigilant.
