Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal expressed his condolences over unfortunate incident that happened in wee hours of Friday morning where 16 migrant workers were killed after coming under a goods train in Aurangab. Piyush Goyal said that he prays for departed souls ding that an inquiry h been launched into matter 

"Today at 5:22 AM, re was s news of sleeping workers coming down goods train between Bnapur and Karm station of Nanded Division. Relief work is going on, and orders for inquiries have been given. I pray to God for peace of departed souls," he tweeted.

accident happened near Karm, Aurangab when an empty rake of goods wagon ran over some people.  workers, who were walking to Bhusawal from Jalna, were returning to Mhya Presh, an official at Karm police station told news ncy PTI.  y h been walking along rail tracks and slept on rail tracks due to exhaustion, said Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Central Railway. y were mowed down by train at 5.15 am, official ded. According to sources, around 19 people came in contact with a goods train, out of which two are injured and undergoing treatment while remaining three are safe.
