New Delhi: In a significant move towards promoting renewable energy, the Government of India has launched the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. This ambitious initiative aims to provide households with up to 300 units of free electricity and promote the use of solar energy. The scheme is expected to revolutionise the way India generates and consumes energy, reducing carbon footprint and promoting sustainable growth.

Under this scheme, solar panels will be installed on the rooftops of houses, and the government will provide a subsidy of up to Rs 78,000. This will reduce electricity bills and enable households to generate excess energy and sell it back to the government. The scheme has already gained immense popularity, with 1.30 crore people registering and 18 lakh applications received for subsidy since its launch in February.

These products will enable households to harness the power of solar energy efficiently and effectively. Servotech founder and MD Raman Bhatia said at an event that this scheme of the central government not only helps in reducing carbon footprint but also promotes sustainable growth, which will eventually bring a new revolution in the field of renewable energy.

The PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme is a game-changer for India's renewable energy sector. It will not only reduce the country's dependence on fossil fuels but also create new job opportunities and stimulate economic growth. With the government's commitment to providing subsidies and promoting sustainable energy, India is poised to become a leader in renewable energy globally.
