Republic Bharat Summit Concludes with National Leaders Advocating ‘Rashtra Sarvopari’ Vision

At the Republic Bharat Summit on Rashtra Sarvopari Sammelan, former Union Minister Smriti Irani challenged Rahul Gandhi saying, “Rahul Gandhi should fight from other places too, which are non-family constituencies. He cannot win from Amethi even in 2029. I challenge Rahul Gandhi to debate with me.”
 

At the Republic Bharat Summit on Rashtra Sarvopari Sammelan, former Union Minister Smriti Irani took aim at Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Rahul Gandhi wants to provoke the government. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji knows that Rahul Gandhi acts to keep himself relevant. Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi proved that it is not necessary to be a Gandhi scion to become a prime minister.” 

At the Republic Bharat Summit, while speaking on ‘Rashtra Sarvopari Sammelan’, former Union Minister Smriti Irani lashed Rahul Gandhi over his remarks at various international forums accusing Indian institutes, saying, “Rahul Gandhi spoke against our democratic institution at international forums.” 

At the Republic Bharat Summit on Rashtra Sarvopari Sammelan, former Union Minister Smriti Irani recounted her electoral conflict in Amethi, saying, “In Amethi, almost 55 per cent voting composition is in favour of Gandhis hence they chose the constituency. I'm the first non-Congress candidate in Amethi who completed her tenure of 5 years as an MP.” 

At the Republic Bharat Summit, former Union Minister Smriti Irani said on her plan to contest elections from any other constituency, “In 2014, geographically and as per psephology, I was the most well-travelled politician.”

Former Union Minister Smriti Irani, while speaking at the Republic Bharat Summit, responded to her defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, saying, “ I am the first non-Congress candidate in Amethi who completed her tenure of 5 years as an MP. I was the first woman who defeated the Congress's sitting national president (Rahul Gandhi).”
 

The Election Commission on Friday issued the notification for the upcoming bye-elections to nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, a senior official said.

According to the EC, the last date of making nominations is October 25, while scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on October 28.

The last date for the withdrawal of candidature is October 30.

Voting will be held on November 13, while counting of votes will take place on November 23.

The EC on Tuesday announced that bypolls to nine of the 10 vacant assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, except Milkipur of Ayodhya district, will be held on November 13. Bypoll to the Milkipur assembly seat was not announced as an election petition is pending in the high court against the candidate who had won the seat earlier.

“Article 370 is no longer relevant to the public. All parties wanted to stay connected with the public, hence Congress was silent on this matter. In Jammu, they were silent on the matter. Common masses in Kashmir are watching the uncountable number of opportunities being provided to the youth in the valley,” Jitendra Singh said. 

When asked if he could bring the same kind of laws as his father Virbhadra Singh brought in 2005 (anti-conversion legislation) under the Congress setup, Vikramaditya Singh said, “Congress is still the same. Sonia Gandhi, Kharge all are focussed on nation's interest.”

“I praise everyone. I have praised Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sardar Patel, Nehru. We have to learn from people of all walks of life,” Vikramaditya Singh said.

“If it's unauthorized construction then today is your government why is Congress not demolishing it? what is the problem?” asks former Himachal CM Jairam Thakur. 

“This is a fact that illegal construction of Mosques in Himachal started under previous BJP government. It was Jairam Thakur's tenure,” said Himachal Minister Vikramaditya Singh. 

“We have always supported reservations. It was Congress which was against quotas when it was introduced in 90s” said Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary. 

“BJP evaluates work of each party worker and based on that evaluation decides to give opportunity to small deserving karyakartas,”  Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Sao said. 

“In this history of 75 years of state, Nitish Kumar is the only chief minister who worked for Bihar. And because of his work, he is always elected as Chief Minister,” Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary said.

“It is quite certain that Lalu Yadav's family is famous for corruption in whole Bihar. If anyone tried looting Bihar then it is Lalu Yadav's family, if they come back in power they will loot it again,” Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary said. 

“Congress is being run by feudal lords. Just look at their performances in Lok Sabha polls, they have failed to cross 100 mark for the third consecutive time. But look at their mentality, their leader (Rahul Gandhi) visits abroad when elections are nearing,” Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said at Republic Summit. 

Dharmendra Pradhan, speaking at the Republic Bharat Summit, fiercely targeted the Congress saying the party had been in power but it bankrupt a state because their own advisors have no idea of the ground reality.

“After the Panchayat series, my life is still the same but my people's perspective towards me changed. They see me in the category of good actors…when you don't get work in Mumbai for a long time then you start doubting yourself…I went into depression after my father suffered a brain hemorrhage, tough times will come but eventually it will pass away,” Actor Durgesh Kumar said.

"Our tourism sector is rapidly developing," said Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Culture and Tourism. He noted that history bears witness to the fact that people from around the world have come to India to experience its culture. “Our tourism sector is rapidly developing. The greatest need for tourism is infrastructure, and this is a significant challenge. The Modi government has been working on this.”

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj said that as far as sending Arvind Kejriwal to jail is concerned, the BJP had no role in it. While AAP may not trust the investigative agencies, they should at least have faith in the court.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal expressed confidence in the Indian government's ability to achieve significant progress and development in collaboration with the citizens. Goyal said, "Along with the people of the country, our government will make India grow to new heights. Modi ji can make India 'Viksit Bharat.' He is working at three times the pace in his third term. Keep loving him the way you do."

Speaking at the Republic Bharat Summit, Union Minister Piyush Goyal stressed on the need for collective responsibility in preventing caste politics from taking root in India. Goyal said, "We must all work together to prevent caste politics from gaining any influence in our country. When our government initiates schemes, caste is never a criterion for providing benefits to the recipients. We are committed to ensuring that vote bank politics or appeasement tactics are not encouraged. We have never claimed that Muslims do not associate with Hindus. Hindutva represents a way of life, and neither Modi ji nor the BJP has engaged in caste or religious politics."

Slamming the opposition, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, "People of India understand that polls in India are conducted in the most fair manner. Hundreds of officials are involved to make it happen successfully. Lakhs of machines are in use. That's a great achievement in itself. But some parties raise allegations and accusations against that too."

Speaking of the upcoming assembly polls in Maharashtra, Piyush Goyal said, "Uddhav Thackeray's govt was a failed govt. People will bring in Eknath Shinde and team back in power for the great work they have done for the people of the state."

Speaking to Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami at the Republic Summit, Piyush Goyal discussed the recent elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Goyal said, "Modi ji has dedicated his life to the nation. The Haryana poll results show Modi ji has won the hearts of the people. But I feel we have disappointed Modi ji. In Maharashtra, there could have been better results. We could have won more seats with a little extra effort. But now people are aware; they will not make any mistake now. In Haryana, Jharkhand, Maha, or Delhi, the impact of Modi ji's work will be seen."

In discussion with Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami at the Republic Bharat Summit, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, "In political life, it feels the best when you go and meet people personally. PM Modi gave us a chance to be a part of Janta Adalat; it was a big opportunity for me. Strong measures have been taken by Modi govt to make India Atma Nirbhar Bharat."

Anurag Thakur said, "When questions were being raised in the Vidhan Sabha, their CM was sleeping in the Vidhan Sabha. Who decided to remove him? Congress minister raised the question, but if BJP speaks, it will be called divisive. There should be no illegal construction, and especially daughters-in-law and daughters are facing problems. Their minister said that Yogi Adityanath ji did a good job; we will also do it for the ready patri people. Action should not be taken by looking at any caste or religion.

Then these people speak on BJP. When rape happened in Uttar Pradesh, with whom did Akhilesh ji stand? Anhon did not say a word for the police force. Whoever wants to do politics is doing it, but the work of the police is going on, and the police of Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is working. UP police should be appreciated.

What he says in the Parliament should be seen. His own party leader said that now that he has got a big responsibility, maturity will come, but now he will provoke his leaders further that when the PM does not let him speak in the Parliament, he will just hold the red constitution book in his hand. Let's go, but when I asked how many pages are there, I couldn't find a single thing there."

Anurag Thakur said, "When I entered politics, Jaitley ji played a big role. I worked like a worker, did whatever the party gave me. Modi ji gave me the opportunity to serve for 5 years. BJP is a party of workers, where a worker can become anything from CM to PM; Modi ji is a great example. We work on the principle of sabka saath, sabka vikas. We do not look at caste. We give benefits of schemes to everyone and work for everyone. The decision that is taken is for the benefit of the country and is not based on caste or religion."

Speaking at the Republic Summit, Atishi said that in the February poll results, the people of Delhi will give the BJP a strong answer and show them their sinking position. She said, "In February poll results, people of Delhi will give BJP a strong answer. People will show them their sinking position," she said.

At the Republic Bharat Summit, Atishi said, "AAP is with the people of Delhi. BJP has been attacking the Constitution. BJP has been trying to end democracy and drag it to dictatorship. AAP has always stood to 'save the Constitution', and we will join hands with those parties who are with us in this goal."

In discussion with Republic Media Network's Executive Editor Aishwarya Kapoor at the Republic Bharat Summit, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said, "We all can recall that when all the scams are reported, piles of money are found, but raids happened at AAP leaders' locations, but not one penny was found by agencies."
