Republic Day 2021: Six NIA officials receive police medal for their distinguished service
In recognition of outstanding contribution in service of the nation, 6 officials of NIA (National Investigation agency) have been awarded the Police Medals.

Ministry of Home Affairs informed that recognising outstanding contribution towards serving nation, an official of National Investigation ncy (NIA), has been awarded President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service. NIA He Constable Vid Kumar KS has been awarded President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

According to release, 5 more National Investigation ncy officials have been awarded Police Medal for meritorious service. Sonia Narang, n DIG of NIA, presently ditional Director, ED; Rajesh TV, DySP, NIA Hyderab; Tapan Kumar Ghosh, Assistant, NIA, Kolkata; PK Uthaman, Assistant Sub-Inspector, NIA, Delhi; and Mahesh Kumar Yav, He Constable, NIA, Luckw have been awarded Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

Listing out furr details, Ministry informed that Banglesh contingent will carry legacy of legendary Muktijoddas of Banglesh, who fought against oppression and mass atrocities and liberated Banglesh in 1971. "India is currently celebrating SawrnimVijay Varsh- Golden Jubilee year-commemorating country's victory over Pakistan in 1971 war that led to creation of Banglesh," it ded.

Indian Army will showcase main battle tank T-90 Bhishma, infantry combat vehicle BMP-II-Sarath, mobile automous launcher of Brahmos missile system, multi-launcher rocket system Pinaka, electronic warfare system Samvijay among ors during pare.

Ministry ted that Indian Navy's tableau at Republic Day pare this year will showcase models of Indian naval ship (INS) Vikrant and naval operations that were conducted during 1971 India-Pakistan war. Indian Air Force (IAF) will showcase models of light combat aircraft (LCA) Tejas and indigeusly developed anti-tank guided missile Dhruvastra on its tableaus during pare, ministry ted. y also showcased scaled-down models of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jet and Rohini rar on tableaus. A total of 38 IAF aircraft, include Rafale, and four planes of Indian Army will participate in flypast on Tuesday.
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will have two tableaus at this year's pare, one showcasing light combat aircraft Tejas' successful take off from aircraft carrier INS Vikramitya in 2020, and ar displaying full complement of anti-tank guided missile systems, Defence Ministry said. Republic Day pare ceremony will commence with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting National War Memorial.

17 tableaux from various states and union territories, namely, Gujarat, Assam, Tamil Nu, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Presh, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Presh, Arunachal Presh, Delhi and Lakh will be showcased during pare, depicting geographical and rich cultural diversity of country, it said.
Defence Ministry stated se tableaux will show vision for Lakh to be carbon neutral, sun temple at Modhera in Mehsana District of Gujarat, tea-tribes of Assam, shore temple and or monuments of Pallava Dynasty in Tamil Nu, Bhakti Movement and saints of Maharashtra, etc.
