Rewa Horror: Woman Stabs Husband’s First Wife Over 50 Times After Argument

Rewa: In Mhya Presh 's Rewa district, a woman allegedly stabbed her husband's first wife over 50 times with a knife inflicting her with severe wounds following an argument. victim sustained critical injuries during incident, following which she was shifted to a hospital for treatment. A horrific video of stabbing incident has also surfaced on social media showing accused, identified as Mansi (22) repeatedly stabbing victim, identified as Jaya (26).

Following incident, Rewa police registered a case under relevant sections and initiated legal proceedings.

As per police, Mansi and Jaya, are both married to a man named Rambabu Verma. It is being claimed that on day of Diwali , October 31, both Mansi and Jaya h an altercation over an issue, which escalated into a scuffle and furr turned violent. During scuffle, Mansi took a knife and allegedly stabbed Jaya over 50 times with a knife, leaving victim lying injured in a pool of blood. 

t only this, Mansi even kicked Jaya's face repeatedly and abused her as she was lying on floor drenched in blood. 

Jaya was rushed to a hospital where her condition was stated to be critical.

Upon receiving an alert about incident, a police team reached spot and arrested Mansi under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

According to police, Jaya was married to Rambabu Verma in 2019. However, due to her poor health, Verma married Mansi in 2021.
