Road in Delhi's Trilokpuri Caves-in Creating 15-Foot Pit

New Delhi: A road in the national capital's Trilokpuri area caved in and a massive 15-foot-deep pit was formed late Thursday night. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Rohit Kumar Mehraulia said that the incident occurred around 9 PM and might have occurred due to heavy rains this year. 

"This incident happened around 9 pm...we informed the police, and they came here and placed barricades and stopped people from going there. This pit must have formed due to heavy rain this year," he said on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party's ( BJP ) Delhi unit took to X and slammed the AAP government for the massive pit. The party shared a video of the area and wrote, “Corrupt Kejriwal gang duped Delhiites by showing them dreams of London!”

Soon after the incident, police barricaded the area to avoid any untoward incident as locals crowded the area.
