Taking to Twitter, Rohit Sharma said this will be best innings Rahane will ever play and also asked him to enjoy time with baby girl. Rohit conveyed his best wishes to Rahane and his family.

Rahane blessed with a baby girl
Rahane was blessed with a baby girl on Saturday, October 5, while 31-year-old cricketer was in Visakhapatnam for ongoing test series between India and South Africa. Since n, Rahane has been congratulated by many Indian cricketers. Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar congratulated top-tch middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane for his newborn with a hilarious tweet. Terming joy of having a child 'unparalleled', he also asked test vice-captain to brace himself for 'New role of a night watchman'.

Former cricketer and one of India's best spinners Harbhajan Singh also penned his heartiest congratulation as he wished new parents. Singh took to Twitter and said 'fun part of life starts w ajju (Ajinkya)'.

Confident Rahane
India registered a convincing victory over South Africa in first Test match of series by 203 runs and took a 1-0 le in three-match series. Before start of match, Ajinkya Rahane expressed confidence in team, saying that ir ‘preparation has been really good.’ Rahane said, “As a batting unit, you have to apt to all conditions and you got to prepare yourself really well before series starts. Our preparation has been really good. We h a really good practice session today and one more day tomorrow going into match,” in a pre-match press conference. Rahane will look to carry confidence forward in second Test match too as India will look to win series.
