S. Jaishankar meets leaders at G4 meeting, calls it 'very purposeful'

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met his counterparts from Brazil, Germany, and Japan on Thursday at G4 meeting in New York on Thursday. Minister in a tweet said that meeting was purposeful and important for United Nations.
What is G4?
G4 nations comprise of India, Germany, Japan, and Brazil. se countries support each or bids for permanent seats at United Nations. Each of se four countries has figured among elected n-permanent members of council since UN's establishment.

He lashes out at Pakistan
Earlier today, dressing Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) programme, S.Jaishankar lashed out at Pakistan and accused Pakistan of using terrorism deliberately against India. "You have terrorism in different parts of world, but re is part of world where a country uses it consciously and deliberately as a large scale industry against its neighbour," He furr ded, "Issue is t wher to talk or t, everybody wants to talk to ir neighbour. issue is how do I talk to a country that is conducting terrorism and follows a policy of implausible deniability."

Meeting Gulf Cooperation Council
External Affairs Minister also held a meeting with Gulf Cooperation Council, FM of Oman Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah and State Minister for Foreign Affairs of UAE for strengning ties.

Bilateral talks with 11 Ministers
Jaishankar also held bilateral talks with 11 of his counterparts on Wednesday. "External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar h 11 bilateral meetings with Iran, Bulgaria, Turkey, Nerlands, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, UAE and ors. He also h a meeting with US Special Envoy on Afghanistan," spokesperson for Ministry of External Affairs, Raveesh Kumar, said at a press briefing in New York.
