S Jaishankar arrived in Russia on Tuesday on a two-day visit to finalise preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's forthcoming visit to country. This is Jaishankar's first visit to Moscow since assuming office in May. His visit comes days ahe of Eastern Ecomic Forum in Vlivostok from September 4 to 6 where Prime Minister Modi will be chief guest.

S Jaishankar Moscow nda
On his visit to Moscow, S Jaishankar held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov and Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov. A series of issues were discussed. Apart from that, ecomic cooperation between two countries was also discussed.
