Sakshi Dhoni's 'Golden' throwback a spark for school-college nostalgia

On 'Throwback Thursday' Sakshi Dhoni took to photo-sharing app Instagram to post a photograph that shows her with four friends in uniform, sparking nostalgia

Taking a trip down memory lane Sakshi Dhoni on Wednesday posted a lovely photograph from her school days. Following the 'Throwback Thursday' Sakshi took to photo-sharing app Instagram to post the image. The picture shows her with four friends, all dressed in blue and white uniforms as they pose for the camera.

Sakshi Dhoni captioned the photo as "Golden days". Sakshi, married to World Cup-winning former Team India skipper MS Dhoni, did her schooling from Welham Girls' School in Dehradun before moving to Aurangabad to study at the Institute of Hotel Management. The picture has garnered over 35,000 likes and a lot of comments within an hour of being shared online. Suresh Raina was among those who liked the picture.

Sakshi recently shared several photos on her Instagram account from her vacation in Lake Como, a city in Lombardy, Italy. The pictured showed Sakshi having fun times with her friends and the location will surely make her followers think about visiting the beautiful place surrounded by the Alps. She stayed at the Villa d’Este in Lake Como.

Sakshi Dhoni hits out at Jharkhand govt

Earlier, Sakshi Dhoni had hit out at the Jharkhand government for failing to keep up its promise of maintaining zero power cuts in the state. Complaining of power cuts ranging from four to seven hours a day, Sakshi Dhoni took to Twitter to hit out at the concerned authorities.

She said that the power supply was interrupted for five hours on 19 September despite good weather and the absence of any festival. Sakshi Dhoni hoped that the concerned authorities would take notice of the issue and would resolve the same.
