Salman Khan Gets Another Death Threat, Suspect Demands Rs 5 Cr; Probe Underway

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received received ar threat, a police official said on Tuesday, adding person who threatened actor has demanded Rs 5 crore from him.

threat mess was received on Mumbai traffic police helpline and an officer read it around midnight, official said.

person who sent mess claimed he is bror of gangster Lawrence Bishi, police official said.

“If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishi community) temple and apologise or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does t do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active,” mess said.

Police are probing origin of threat mess and have beefed up security measures for Salman Khan, sources said, adding police are also checking if mess is linked to Lawrence Bishi, who is in jail on various charges, including attempted murder and extortion.
