Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh : The police has arrested a principal from a government school in Changlang district on allegations of sexual harassment involving minor female students. The headmaster, who is in charge of Government Secondary School in Diyun, was taken into custody following a complaint received on October 2.

Serious Allegations Surface Against Principal

The headmaster is accused of sending inappropriate messages containing objectionable content to the mobile phones of the young victims. Changlang district Superintendent of Police Kirli Padu confirmed the arrest, stating that the police are thoroughly investigating the allegations. “We are investigating the matter. We arrested the headmaster in charge of the school. We have also taken the statements of the victim students. Further investigation is underway,” Padu said in a statement to ANI.

Police have emphasized that they are taking the allegations seriously, given the sensitivity surrounding minors. They are currently investigating the claims and gathering further evidence to support the case.

Investigations Underway following Police Complaints
