Second plasma bank in Kerala set up in Wayanad
Kerala's second plasma bank has been set up at the Wayanad district hospital at nearby Mananthavady, close on the heels of a similar facility being launched at Manjeri in Malappuram.

Kerala's second plasma bank has been set up at Wayan district hospital at nearby Mananthavy, close on heels of a similar facility being launched at Manjeri in Malappuram.
District Medical Officer DrR Renuka, who inaugurated plasma bank on Sunday, said convalescent plasma rapy has been found effectivefor treating critical COVID-19 patients.
Health authorities said dors of plasma should have tested negative for virus twice and donation should be within 14-120days of final test result.
dor should be between 14-50 years of , and be healthy with a minimum weight of 55 kgs.
