Five French-me multi-role Rafale fighter jets were inducted into IAF on September 10. fleet has been carrying out sorties in eastern Lakh in last couple of weeks. IAF chief also said that raising of two squrons of light combat aircraft Tejas and integration of some indigeus weapons on Su-30 MKI combat jets in a very reduced time frame have been "most promising" development, reflecting country's capabilities to develop indigeus military hardware.
