The parliamentary board of Sharad Pawar -led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) held a meeting on Saturday to shortlist potential candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, scheduled for November 20, sources said.

Key attendees included Pawar, Maharashtra NCP president Jayant Patil, working president Supriya Sule, and Harshvardhan Patil, who recently joined the NCP-SP after leaving the BJP

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), a coalition of the Congress , NCP (SP), and Shiv Sena (UBT), has not yet finalized its seat-sharing arrangement for the polls, which could influence the state's political landscape.
