Sharad Pawar says 'no problem with going to jail' in MSCB scam case

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar reacted to MSCB scam case filed against him by the ED on Tuesday by saying that he has no problem going to jail & he would welcome it.

After  Enforcement Directorate (ED) led a probe in a bank scam case against  Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Shar Pawar, he reacted to it on Tuesday by saying that he has problem going to jail and he would welcome it. NCP Chief has shown remorse towards  money laundering case filed against him but rar replied saying, "I have problem if I am sent to jail. I will enjoy it inste as I have never experienced it. If someone is thinking to put me behind bars, in this case, I will rar welcome it."

'I will continue campaigning for elections'

Shar Pawar was asked if his name h come up in money laundering case because United Progressive Alliance (UPA) has been vocal about several issues regarding Centre, NCP chief said that he will have to contact Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fnavis to find out. ED filed  case against him right before Maharashtra Legislative Assembly polls to which Pawar ded that he will continue campaigning for Assembly elections.

Shar Pawar booked under MSCB Scam

On September 24, NCP Chief Shar Pawar, his nephew Ajit Pawar and ors in  Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) scam case. Officials claimed that an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) has been registered by central ncy under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Reacting to ECIR filed against him which is equivalent to an FIR, he said that he wasn't surprised by this. Pawar also thanked probe ncies as y have linked his name in a case involving a bank of which he is t even a member. He initially seemed clueless when case was registered against him, claiming that he h t received any tice.
