Banglesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that South Asian countries must move beyond Majority-Mirity mindset and asserted that 'pluralism' is strength of region. Banglesh Prime Minister was speaking at a session of India Ecomic Summit.

"In next dece, we should follow certain principles -- first, we must try to secure peace, stability and harmony for every individual across our societies. We must move beyond majority-mirity mindset. Pluralism has been strength of South Asia," she said.

Sheikh Hasina roots for cooperation in South Asia

At event, PM Sheikh Hasina also asserted for increased cooperation in region. "Establishing of connectivity will give a door to us to cooperate with each or," she said. She also ted that inequalities in region must t be widened. least developed countries should get priority and focus should be on mutual trust and respect between all countries, Bangleshi Prime Minister said.

Banglesh Prime Minister also spoke about strengning unity in South Asian Countries and said, "Countries in region should be able to celebrate South Asia's diversity — regional, ethnic and linguistic."

PM Hasina on India-Banglesh business ties

Speaking at WEF summit, Banglesh PM said, "We also want to see tre and investment toger where Indian big investors can set up industries in Banglesh and export products to rth-eastern states of India and South-east Asian countries taking vant of improved connectivity between us."

Banglesh PM inaugurates India-Banglesh Business Forum

Banglesh PM is on a four-day visit to India to strengn bilateral relations between two countries and also to attend World Ecomic Summit in national Capital. On Friday, Banglesh PM also inaugurated India-Banglesh Business Forum and spoke about ecomic opportunities for Banglesh.

PM Sheikh Hasina is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5 for a bilateral meeting. Recently, PM Modi and his counterpart Sheikh Hasina met in New York for United Nations General Assembly where PM Modi assured her that NRC would t be a concern for Banglesh. Following this, Banglesh Prime Minister said, “I don’t see any problem. I h a talk with Prime Minister Modi. Everything is OK.”
