former Chief Minister of Mhya Presh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has decided to donate his one month’s salary to flood-hit victims in Mandsaur, Mhya Presh. He also has urged or people to come out and help victims by providing relief materials. Apart from this, in a public statement, he blamed Kamal Nath-led Congress government for t doing eugh in state for farmers. He spoke about Soyabean crops that were destroyed by floods in Mhya Presh and urged state government to compensate for loss of farmers.

former CM of MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan promised to donate his salary for cause of rehabilitation and relief of flood-hit farmers. He said, "In Mandsaur, flood has created havoc. Lives of people have been disrupted. Some of m are also trapped. I will donate my one-month salary to flood-hit victims. I also urge people to come forward and help ir brors and sisters in Mhya Presh by giving m food, clos or money."

Shivraj Singh Chouhan blamed State government for ir negligence
He said, " farmers of state have been devasted and ruined due to rains. ir crops such as Soyabean, Ur have been destroyed. government did t fulfil its promise of loan waiving. Farmers also did t get seeds and soil at a 0% interest rate. This government is t understanding gravity of situation. Farmers' crops have been collapsed and surveys have t yet started in several places. ministration needs to step up its relief work with full capacity and full force. Mhya Presh is my home and its citizens are my family members. It is my duty to fight for ir rights”

Floods in Mhya Presh
Several low-lying areas have been submerged in Mandsaur due to heavy rainfall in area. authorities have taken steps to evacuate people from area. district has been witnessing incessant rains for past three days. rainwater also entered Indira Gandhi District Hospital. According to meteorological department predictions, re is a "very low" chance of halt in rainfall during next few days. district has been put in a state of 'high alert' due to situation. re is report of loss of life from anywhere in district. Mandsaur was also affected by heavy rainfall in last month, affected victims were rescued by a JCB on 9 August. foots of operation showed people climbing on to extended front-end of JCB from across banks of flooded region to safety.
