Shocking Video: Woman Brutally Assaulted With Sticks In MP's Dhar, One Arrested

Dhar (MP): A shocking incident of violence against a woman has come to light from Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh.  

In a video circulating on social media, a woman is seen being mercilessly beaten with a stick by a group of men, while bystanders watch and film the assault. 

According to reports, the incident occurred on June 20. The woman was allegedly fleeing home with a man when she was attacked. The main accused in this case has been identified as the local Sarpanch (village head).

The woman, clad in a yellow saree, is restrained by four men as another man repeatedly strikes her with a wooden stick. 

The villagers standing nearby taking no action against those men and simply watching and making video has sparked outrage online. 

The police have arrested one individual involved in the assault and further investigation is going on.  

A case has been registered based on the viral video, and further investigation is underway. This incident raises serious concerns about women's safety and the role of citizens in such situations.
