Siddaramaiah claims DK Shivakumar will come out clean, attacks BJP
Former Karnataka CM and Congress leader Siddaramaiah targeted the BJP and said that DK Shivakumar is being a victim of the saffron party's "vindictive politics"

Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday evening arrested senior Congress leer DK Shivakumar after four days of questioning in connection with a money-laundering case. Taking to Twitter, senior Congress leer and former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah targeted BJP party and said that DK Shivakumar is being a victim of saffron party's "vindictive politics". In a series of tweets, he ded that Opposition leers are being targeted by government ncies, ding that it is an "attempt to divert attention of citizens from BJP government's failures".
Extending support to DK Shivakumar following his arrest, Siddaramaiah ded that Congress leer "will definitely come out clean". Siddaramaiah furr stated that Congress party is with DK Shivakumar in difficult times and will provide full support to him.

DK Shivakumar reacts to arrest
Shortly after his arrest by ED, DK Shivakumar took to Twitter and cried foul, congratulating BJP over ir "successful mission of arresting". In a series of tweet, sitting MLA claimed that IT and ED cases against him are "politically motivated" and called himself a victim of BJP's "political vendetta and vengeance". He furr appealed his party cre and supports to t be dishearted, assuring m that he h done "thing illegal". Shivakumar asserted that he h full faith in country' judiciary, expressing confidence over emerging victorious against vendetta politics.

Congress extends full support
Responding to Congress leer's arrest, Grand Old Party took to Twitter and condemned actions taken by ED. Calling it "vendetta politics", Congress party claimed that actions taken by probe ncy are yet ar "attempt by government to distract public from state of ecomy".
