Former K'taka CM Siddaramaiah while on his visit to Badami town was confronted by a local woman, who asked him about the house he promised before the elections

Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah while on his visit to Bami town was confronted by a local woman on Wednesday, October 23. According to reports, a woman from flood-affected areas who lost her house told Siddaramiah that locals were told that if y vote for him, y will get a house. Upon that, woman asked former CM "You have got out vote, when will we get our house?"
Siddaramiah's visit to Bami
According to reports, Senior Congress leer, Siddaramiah, on Wednesday visited flood-affected town, Bami, to take stock of dams caused by floods. He was accompanied by a group of men and local police. former CM was standing on a broken ro in Bami that was damd by heavy rains and floods.

Karnataka floods
Heavy rains and floods have gripped state of Karnataka since October 18. According to reports, death toll due to floods in Karnataka has reached 13 on Wednesday. Furr data collected by State government revealed a total of 150 livestock have been killed and more than 10,000 houses have been damd. Out of total damd houses, 9,832 are partially damd and 206 completely damd. Along with it, several ros have also been damd.

Relief measures
According to reports, a total of 7,220 people have been rehabilitated across Karnataka in 28 relief camps since October 18. Along with it, around four ditional Directorate General of Public Information Indian Army (GPI) teams were pressed into action for relief and rescue operations in flood-hit Raichur district. According to PRO Bengaluru, more teams are on standby and will be put to action.
