Sixty Nine Candidates Set to Contest in Rajasthan Bypolls on Nov 13 for 7 Assembly Seats

Jaipur: 69 candidates, including 10 female minees, will test ir electoral luck in vember 13 bypolls to seven Assembly constituencies in Rajasthan .

10 candidates withdrew ir mination papers on last day on Wednesday, while 5 minees h withdrew ir names earlier.

State Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan said a total of 94 candidates submitted ir mination papers by October 25, last date for mination filing for bypolls.

During scrutiny of minations on October 28, 10 candidatures were cancelled, he said.

A maximum of 12 candidates each are in fray in Dausa and Khinvsar, while Salumbar has least number of minees at six.

Similarly, 11 candidates are contesting in Jhunjhunu, 10 each in Ramgarh and Chaurasi, and eight in Deoli-Uniara.

bypoll results will be anunced on vember 23.
