'So much to learn from you Rahul': Robert Vadra says Rahul Gandhi is a guru for India's young

Robert Vadra heaped praises for his brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi for being a young icon in a Facebook post on Saturday.

Vadra stated how the youth of the country looks up the 49-year-old Congress leader  for direction and praised him for showing 'strength of character.' Furthermore said that the 'service of the nation is bigger than a party post'

He said: There is so much to learn from you, Rahul. The Indian populace, which comprises 65% of the young -(under 45 years), looks up to you and other young leaders for direction. You have shown tremendous strength of character and your decision to build the grassroot connect has been applauded by one and all. I am with you in service to the nation which is bigger than any party post. Let's connect with people & serve our nation, in a better way.

At the moment, the former Congress president has been touring the country over multiple defamation cases filed against him. 

On Friday, Gandhi was granted bail by Ahmedabad Metropolitan Court in a defamation case filed against him by the Ahmedabad District Cooperative Bank and its chairman Ajay Patel. The Congress leader has been directed by the court to pay Rs 15,000 as surety in the case.

Prior to that, on July 9, a  court in Ahmedabad issued fresh summons to Congress leader directing him to appear on August 9 in a criminal defamation suit filed against him by a local BJP leader for allegedly calling Union Home Minister Amit Shah a "murder accused".

The former Congress president even appeared before the Patna civil court on July 6 after he was summoned by the court over the defamation case filed on April 13, alleging that Rahul Gandhi's remark ' Saare Modi Chor hai', has insulted the 'Modi Community'

On July 4, Gandhi plead not guilty in the defamation case filed against him by a RSS worker. The RSS worker Dhrutiman Joshi had filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Sitaram Yechury and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) for defaming the RSS following the death of Gauri Lankesh in Feburary 2019.
