New Delhi: Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor challenged RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to speak for five minutes on socialism without reading from a paper. "He (Tejashwi) calls himself a socialist but can’t even define it. How can he talk about it? I challenge him to speak five lines on socialism. He should undergo coaching for ten days before attempting to speak on the subject. Tejaswi has no knowledge of the topic or command of the language. How can he be a grassroots leader? Bihar, the land of wisdom and knowledge, takes pride in illiterate politicians", said PK, launching a scathing attack on Bihar's former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi.
He also questioned Tejashwi's ability to lead the state's (Bihar) development. “If someone could not get educated because of lack of resources, it is understood. But if someone's parents are Chief Minister and he could not pass 10th class, then this shows their approach towards education. A 9th fail is showing the way to Bihar's development. He (Tejashwi Yadav) doesn't know the difference between GDP and GDP growth and he will tell how Bihar will improve?” Prashant Kishor said while addressing a presser in Bhojpur, Bihar.
Kishor criticized Tejashwi's upcoming state tour, set to begin on September 10, challenging him to engage with constituents on foot rather than relying on a convoy of vehicles and staged photo opportunities.
He described the RJD leader's promises of government jobs as deceptive, noting that with 23 lakh government employees in Bihar, which constitutes only 1.97 percent of the population, “even if he (Tejashwi) delivers on his promises, 98 percent of people would still be unaffected.”
Regarding the caste census, Kishor supported its implementation but criticized the current political discourse as a means for political gain.
He suggested that parties truly concerned with the issue should first implement the caste census in states where they hold power and provide economic benefits to the respective communities. “If the Congress party were genuinely concerned, they should first implement the caste census in states where they are in power and provide economic benefits to the respective communities,” Kishor stated.
