Stampede At Dhirendra Shastri's Religious Event In Bhilwara, Several Injured

Bhilwara: A stampede erupted during a religious event of chief of Bshwar Dham, Dhirendra Shastri in Rajasthan 's Bhilwara leaving over half a dozen people injured. incident occurred on Thursday evening at VIP gate, where people with VIP passes were denied an entry to event. Following denial of entry from gate, a altercation took place between devotees and security personnel leing to a stampede-like situation at spot.

According to Bhilwara police, injured people consists of women and children, who were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

Following incident, patron of event, Banwari Sharan Maharaj accused organisers of event for incident. He alleged that organisers didn't handled VIP pass distribution properly, which led to a mass distribution of VIP passes.
