Sukesh Chandrasekhar Offers Rs 15 Crore, Construction of 300 Houses For Wayanad Landslide Relief

New Delhi: Alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has sent a letter to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, offering a contribution of Rs 15 crore to Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in response to recent landslides in Wayan district.
Chandrasekhar, who is currently incarcerated in Mandoli jail, expressed his deep distress over situation in Kerala and his desire to support those affected. His vocate, Anant Malik, confirmed aunticity of letter.

In letter, Chandrasekhar requested that his donation of Rs 15 crore be accepted for relief fund and also pledged ditional support to build 300 houses for displaced individuals.
He emphasized that funds come from "legitimate business accounts" and urged state government to use money for welfare and rehabilitation of those impacted by disaster.

Kerala government has yet to respond to Chandrasekhar's offer. He and his wife are currently in jail facing charges of money laundering and fraud.
Wayan Landslide
landslides in Wayan have resulted in 226 confirmed deaths and left 138 people missing, according to latest figures from local authorities. search and rescue operation, involving over 1,000 personnel from Army, Navy, and or ncies, as well as more than 500 volunteers and heavy machinery, is ongoing in affected areas of Chooralmala and Mundakkai.
