Despite being called out for so many lies which have been spinning out from Pakistan, even from its official sources, the lies have not stopped emanating from the country.
After Pakistan's bluff, which was propagated even by its DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, that its Forces did not use American bought F-16s for its attempt to infiltrate and attack Indian military bases in Nowshera was called, the country quickly tried to hide its lie with another lie.
Soon after it was proven that it was indeed F-16 used by Pakistan forces on Wednesday, with officials from Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force presenting a part of the AMRAAM missile which is fitted on F-16 as evidence of the engagement of the aircraft by PAF during a press briefing, the country tried to sell a new fabrication.
A media report from Pakistan said that the evidence presented during press briefing belonged to F-16 which was sold to Taiwan by US.
Much to Pakistan's disappointment, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence has refuted the claim. In fact, local media from Taiwan even gave proof that the parts indeed belonged to F-16 sold to Pakistan by the United States.
Media reports from Taiwan have said that the contract number FA8675-05-C-0070 on the AMRAAM part which was presented on Thursday by the Joint Forces officials was of the sale of the aircrafts to Pakistan by the United States.
Here is the link from the country's media report.
On Thursday, Republic TV had accessed images of part of the Amraam missile which is fitted on the F-16. Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor had denied that Pakistan's forces had used F-16 during its attempt to infiltrate India and target military bases in Nowshera sector.
"After PAF decided on targets, two Indian jets entered Pakistani airspace and the PAF faced them. The two planes were shot down — one fell in our space and the other on their side," the DG ISPR shared. "Pakistan did not use F-16 in any activity today," he added.
The images which show part of the Amraam missile prove that not only did Pakistan use F-16 it had come with full intention of attacking India's military bases, a claim which has also been denied by Pakistan PM Imran Khan.
The United States had given Pakistan the F-16s to not use it for any aggression, however, it appears that Pakistan has broken that promise as well.
