Tamil Nadu: 70 YO man files petition; says he wants to marry PV Sindhu

A 70-year-old man in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu went on to file a petition to the district collector, saying that he wants to marry PV Sindhu

In an unusual case, a 70-year-old man in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nu went on to file a petition to district collector, saying that he wants to marry 24-year-old shuttler PV Sindu. In an incident that took place during weekly meetings organised by district collector where general public comes to submit ir petitions, man, identified as Malaisamy, filed his petition as well. He went to collectorate with pictures of himself and ace shuttler Sindhu.

Malaisamy says he is 16 years old

According to a media report, however, he did t stop at that. He also claimed that if it turns out to be impossible, he will kidnap her and marry her reafter. Malaisamy said Sindhu’s achievements have impressed him and that he w wants her to be his life partner. He furr went on to claim that in reality, he is t a 70-year-old, but a 16-year-old boy who was born on April 4, 2004.

Sindhu h recently won a gold medal at BWF World Championship

On a related te, Sindhu received a lot of appreciation last month when she brought home a gold medal that she won at BWF world championship. She received a very warm welcome at IGI International airport and later went on to meet Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

She h explained to media how win was much-awaited for her. bminton star h previously won two bronze and two silver medals but missed gold by a small margin in both 2017 and 2018. Having self-actualized her long-standing dream of becoming a world champion, two-time-silver-medalist was thrilled and promised to bag a gold for country in 2020 Tokyo Olympics  
Sindhu h also thanked her coach Gopichand for helping her throughout her journey. While also appreciating Rijiju, she h said, “Sir has been very supportive. government of India has been a great support throughout. Whenever we needed anything, y extended ir support.” She h furr also heaped praises on government of India for always encouraging all sportspersons.
