Tamil Nadu govt shuts all public spaces until March 31 due to Coronavirus outbreak

Tamil Nadu CM Edapadi K Palaiswami decided to shut down all educational institutions, malls, theatres, gyms, clubs & zoos till March 31 in wake of Coronavirus

After 3rd review meeting conducted by Tamil Nu Chief Minister Edapi K Palaiswami on Coronavirus, State government has taken a massive decision to shut down all educational institutions including schools, colleges, universities, and or coaching centres till March 31.

However, board exams for 10th and 12th standard students will be conducted as per schedule after screening. Besides, Medical Institutions will work as usual.

Apart from schools, State government has anunced closure of malls, atres, gyms, swimming pools, stiums, amusement parks across state till March 31. On Sunday, State government anunced closure of malls and atres only in 16 bordering districts, which has w been extended across state till March 31.

Tamil Nu Government issues travel visory

Tamil Nu government has also vised people to avoid travelling to  states affected by Coronavirus for next 15 days. government appealed to people to avoid tours with family until situation gets back to rmal.  Instructions will be given to tourist clubs and resort t to take bookings until March 31.

Along with this, CM Palaiswami has instructed people to avoid garing in large numbers at religious places. He also directed  temple manment to screen devotees who visit temple/church/mosque. Chief Minister's statement also said that functions such are marris that are alrey planned can be held at a minimum scale with less crowd. He urged people t to make any plans before March 31.

Even though positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Tamil Nu,  State government has asked people to follow all instructions to avoid infection and combat virus.
