Tata Curvv Petrol, Diesel Launched In India: Engine, Features, Price, Availability and More

Tata Curvv Petrol Launched: Tata Motors has unveiled the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of its Curvv SUV in India, starting at Rs 9.99 lakh. This launch follows the debut of the Curvv.EV and is part of an introductory offer valid until October 31.

Tata Curvv Design 

The new Curvv ICE is built on Tata's innovative ATLAS architecture, specifically designed for their ICE vehicles. Customers can choose from three engine options: the new Hyperion Gasoline Direct Injection engine, a 1.2L Revotron Petrol Turbocharged engine, and a 1.5L Kryojet Diesel engine. Each engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Tata Curvv Features 

The Hyperion Gasoline Direct Injection engine, exclusive to the Curvv, produces 122 bhp and 225Nm of torque, outperforming the 1.2L turbo petrol engine found in other Tata models such as the Nexon. The Curvv is available in four variants: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished, with color options including Gold Essence, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Pure Grey, and Opera Blue.

Feature-wise, the Curvv is well-equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a JBL audio system with nine speakers and a subwoofer. 

It also includes level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a powered tailgate with gesture control, a powered driver seat, and a panoramic sunroof. With a boot capacity of 500 liters, the Curvv boasts the highest cargo space in its class.

Competing against popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Hyryder, the Curvv ICE aims to carve out a significant presence in the competitive SUV market.
