Tej Pratap Yadav sneaks out of hotel despite security, flees to Vrindavan after argument with family

Amidst the ongoing saga regarding his marriage with Aishwarya Rai, as well as constant pressure from his family to reconsider his decision of divorce, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav on Monday escaped his hotel in Bodh Gaya and ran away to Vrindavan, with his security guards waiting outside his room.

Tej Pratap, son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, had met his father in a Hospital in Ranchi on Saturday, following which he was expected to head back to his home town Patna to meet up with his mother Rabri Devi and other family members including his brother Tejashwi Yadav and discuss his falling marriage. 

Following his meeting with Lalu, Tej Pratap left the hospital on Sunday and halted at midnight in a hotel in Bodh Gaya. But after he did not come out of his room till Monday afternoon, when he was expected to leave for Patna, RJD's MLA from Bodh Gaya, Kumar Sarvajeet broke open his room door, and couldn't find him there.

Sources have reported that Tej Pratap had snuck out of the back door and left for Vrindavan via Varanasi at 3pm after having heated arguments with his family members. He reportedly reached Varanasi at around 6pm on Monday, and then headed for Vrindavan.

Kumar Sarvajeet, who broke open the door after no response, said, "I cannot speak on family matters...yes he had stayed in room No. 104 of Hotel Royal residency last night(Sunday)..There was some mechanical fault in the pilot vehicle which escorts Tej Pratap's vehicle."

Tej Pratap is a regular visitor to Vrindavan, and has constantly made it clear that he is a religious person. Very recently, he had posted videos on Instagram wherein he was standing with flute along with a herd of cows in Vrindavan.

The elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav has been adamant to ending his marriage with Aishwarya Rai, citing no 'compatibility' between the two. It is reported that Tej Pratap is hell-bent to divorce his wife, even though all his family members, including his father Lalu has requested him to reconsider.

In an exclusive to Republic TV, Tej Pratap had mentioned the exact reasons as to why this situation arose. He had said, "ishwarya is from a high society, and I was forcefully married to her. There is no compatibility between us. When there was a fight between us, Aishwarya was the one who told me get divorced. I never wanted to marry her as I am a religious person. But on the wishes of my parents, I married her. My sister's had also asked me to not marry, but I was forced to. I even told my father that there was no compatibility between us, but no one heard me. I am North pole, she is South pole."
