Telangana BJP head submits report to JP Nadda on TSRTC workers' strike

BJP president of Telangana K Laxman on Saturday met BJP working president JP Nadda in Delhi and submitted a report over the ongoing strike of TSRTC employees

BJP president of Telangana K Laxman on Saturday met BJP working president JP Nda in Delhi and submitted a report over ongoing strike of Telangana State Ro Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees. Laxman took to Twitter to share update and wrote, "Submitted a brief report to BJP National Working President JP Nda, on ongoing TSRTC Strike and updated about current political situation in Telangana."

Laxman will bring all matters to tice of Amit Shah and Nda

While speaking to news ncy ANI, Laxman recalled incidents of police "manhandling" BJP leers. He said that BJP MP from Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay was manhandled by police during a march held to observe mourning of death of a TSRTC employee. Laxman said that he will bring all matters to tice of BJP president Amit Shah and Nda. Sanjay will also move a privilege motion in upcoming session of Parliament.

'KCR openly threatened hapless employees'

Telangana unit of BJP h criticised K Chandrashekar Rao-led state government on Saturday over its decisions taken regarding strike of TSRTC employees. BJP has said decisions by KCR government has been done with "highly suspicious" intentions. "BJP feels Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's statements amount to threatening TSRTC employees who are on a legal strike. Bare minimum KCR could have done is to invite union leers for direct talks with him to resolve this month-long stand-off, inste, he openly threatened hapless employees," K Krishna Saagar Rao, chief spokesperson, Telangana BJP said in a statement.

' merger of RTC with government'

Earlier on Saturday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao set vember 5 deline for protesting TSRTC employees to join back and said that re will be merger of transport corporation with state government "on any condition". Chandrashekar Rao told media, "On any condition, re is merger of RTC with government, this is decided by state cabinet. 5100 private buses permission is granted in state. This strike is declared illegal by labour commissioner. If any strike (is) declared illegal n employees and department relation do t exist. This agitation has started especially during students' exams and festive season."
