Thane: At least six children sustained injuries after a shed at a football stadium in Maharashtra's Thane collapsed on Friday night following heavy rain.
The incident is said to have taken place around midnight. According to sources, around 17 children were playing on the ground when the mishap took place.
The injured were admitted to Bethany hospital in the district. Visuals have emerged from the collapse site wherein the children can be seen rushing to help the injured as heavy rain accompanied with strong winds continues to last the area.
The Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) have ordered an investigation into the matter.
