Thane Shocker: Man Allegedly Molests Woman and Beats Mother Over Pet Dog's Barking

Thane: A shocking incident unfolded in Thane city, Maharashtra, where a man allegedly molested a woman and beat her elderly mor after woman's pet dog barked at him. incident took place around 4:30 pm on Wednesday at Takarda in Kasarvavli locality.

According to complaint filed by 39-year-old victim, her pet dog barked at her neighbor, Gautam, as he passed by her house. Enraged by barking, 25-year-old man allegedly picked up a stone with intention of attacking dog.

" victim woman's 64-year-old mor reprimanded him over his act. On seeing this, Gautam's mor and anor woman started arguing with victims. three accused beat up mor-daughter duo and molested m by tearing complainant's dress," official said.

case was registered based on victim's complaint against Gautam, his mor Maya (50), and Nayana Thapar (40) under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). charges include sections 74 (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), and 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace).

Authorities are investigating case furr as victims seek justice for ordeal y endured.
