Tharoor backs PM Modi again, now joins Language Challenge
Congress leader and Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor on Friday took to Twitter and extended support to initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

In yet ar unprecendented move, Congress leer and Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor on Friday has extended support to an initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi suggested citizens to learn one word a day in any Indian langu. Taking to Twitter, Congress leer Shashi Tharoor welcomed "departure from Hindi dominance" and said that he would take up #LanguChallenge. In response to PM Modi's initiative, Shashi Tharoor said that he will tweet a word daily in three langus - English, Hindi and Malayalam - starting with word "pluralism".

Earlier on Friday, while dressing an event, PM Modi emphasised on need to bridge langu barrier and bring different cultures toger. PM Modi appealed media to publish one word in 10 to 12 different langus spoken across country. Prime Minister also said that a person can learn over 300 new words in different langus in one year.
"Today, I have a humble suggestion. Can we use power of langu to unite? Can media play role of a bridge and bring people speaking different langus closer? We can simply start with publishing one word in 10-12 different langus spoken across country," he said while dressing event.

Congress leers praise PM Modi
Shashi Tharoor recently heaped praises for PM Modi, after his party leer Jairam Ramesh hailed Prime Minister's developmental works. While Congress party h expressed resentment over Tharoor's remarks for PM Modi, Lok Sabha MP has defended his statements. Kerala Presh Congress Committee chief Mullappally Ramachandran h also sent a tice to Tharoor demanding an explanation for his praise for PM Modi. However, KPCC decided t to take action against Congress leer, saying that y found his explanation in matter "satisfactory".

Moily slams Tharoor
Enrd by comments from senior Congress leers, ex-Chief Minister senior party leer Veerappa Moily h slammed Shashi Tharoor and said that his statement could t be taken seriously. Moily said that Tharoor was never taken seriously by Congress party and h called for disciplinary actions by party leership against Congress leers Shashi Tharoor and Jairam Ramesh for ir praises for PM Modi.
