In a social media post on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Union Home Minister Amit Shah has appreciated film ‘ Sabarmati Report’ which is running successfully in atres. Home Minister congratulated team for ‘exposing truth behind fateful episode’.

Amit Shah's post re, “No matter how hard a powerful ecosystem tries, it cannot keep truth hidden in darkness forever. film Sabarmati Report defies ecosystem with unparalleled courage and exposes truth behind fateful episode to bro daylight.”

PM Modi Hails ‘ Sabarmati Report'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his support to Sabarmati Report, a film he praised for effectively countering misinformation and exposing hidden truths. Taking to social media, PM Modi commended creators for ir efforts in unraveling facts for public.

In a post on ‘X’, PM Modi said, “It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way common people can see it. A fake narrative can persist only for a limited period of time. Eventually, facts will always come out.”

Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Rodhi Dogra star in film from director Ranjan Chandel. It is said to be inspired by true events that followed in aftermath of Godhra train burning incident in 2002 in Gujarat . Vikrant is seen as a journalist in Sabarmati Report. He dubbed incident as "India's 9/11 which changed our socio-political fabric overnight" while drawing parallels with September 11, 2001 terror attacks in New York and Godhra incident.
