'There has been a criminal conspiracy': Naqvi on farmers' tractor rally turning violent
Reacting to the violent protests in Delhi, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi remarked that the farmers' agitation has been hijacked by a 'criminal conspiracyy'

Reacting to violent protests in national capital on Tuesday, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has remarked that farmers' agitation has been hijacked by a 'criminal conspiracy'. Hitting out at protestors, Union Minister said that protests on occasion of Republic Day were 'shameful'. Naqvi also slammed Congress and former party chief Rahul Gandhi for playing a part in protests.
Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, Naqvi said, "I have been saying this since beginning that a criminal conspiracy has hijacked farmers' protest and that has been proven right. Those who h been shedding crocodile tears in name of farmers y have nothing to do with farmers. y wanted to perpetuate and incite violence since beginning. This is shameful. On a day when country remembers its freedom fighters, this is what y have done."

Farmers' protest turns violent

After violent protests on Wednesday which saw over 300 police personnel sustain injuries, Delhi Police has booked some of farmers' leers as it cracks down on violent episode. Some of prominent farmers' leers who have been booked include - Yogendra Yav, Gurnam Singh Chuni, Baljeet Singh, Darshan Pal, Rajinder Singh, Buta Singh Burjgil, Rakesh Tikait and Joginder Singh Ugraha.
