COVAXIN: Three medical colleges in Punjab to volunteer for phase three trials

Three medical colleges in Punjab to volunteer for phase three trials of the COVAXIN, said the CM of Punjab Amarinder Singh in a virtual meeting on Tuesday.

As COVAXIN, India's vaccine against COVID-19 would be entering  third st of human trials on October 15, government of Punjab, in an official statement on Tuesday anunced that three medical colleges in state would be participating in same. 

While trials would be in motion, all of volunteers shall be getting two doses of inactivated virus injection on first and 28th day.

While giving directions to Medical Education and Research Department of state, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh ded that all safety measures, which would be necessary while conducting process, shall be hered to sternly.

Stringent measures were issued by CM Singh to ensure that those who belonged to ecomically weaker strata of society won't be under any pressure to participate in trials without m saying yes to it, understanding repercussions and perils, and ir awareness.
