Dattatreya met Tibetan spiritual leer Dalai Lama at his residence in upper Dharamshala and later visited Cabinet of Central Tibetan ministration (CTA). Speaking to Tibet News Bureau, Dattatreya expressed his best wishes to Tibetans living across India and assured m "all necessary support".
"Tibetans are very entrepreneurial people. y are particularly in good numbers in Himachal Presh. We will definitely do best to improve ir lives, education and extend all necessary assistance," Dattatreya said.

Meanwhile, Dalai Lama said that scientists and philosophers were w showing interest in Buddhism and that Buddhist philosophy and psychology were becoming popular in India and abro. Goverr me keen enquiries on welfare and development of Tibetan communities across India, particularly in major institutions of Tibetan Buddhist study in rth and south India.
Dattatreya was later apprised about CTA's robust ministration and governance of more than a lakh Tibetans across India, Nepal and Bhutan and unparalleled support extended by governments of India and Himachal Presh.
