TSRTC employees retirement age raised to 60 by Telangana govt

The Telangana government has increased the retirement age from 58 to 60 for state-run transport corporation employees, an official release said on Wednesday.

Telangana government has increased retirement from 58 to 60 for state-run transport corporation employees, an official release said on Wednesday. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao signed on file pertaining to increase in retirement for employees of Telangana State Ro Transport Corporation (TSRTC), it said. This increase in limit for retirement will be extended to each and every employee of TSRTC.

Ar official release said Rao held a high-level review meeting and instructed officials concerned to prepare a strategy to expand cargo and parcel services in TSRTC.

Transport MinisterPuvva Ajay Kumar, government's Chief visor Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, TSRTC MD Sunil Sharma participated in meeting. Rao discussed measures to make TSRTC a profit-making corporation, implementation of promises given to workers and employees, strengning goods transportation network and or issues.
